 Many of you have mentioned to me that you are making safer, healthier choices and asked me how to start? We can all get overwhelmed and feel powerless when we start going clean. I know this much for sure, even little changes make a huge difference.

I think one of the easiest ways to start is to swap out your cleaning supplies for more natural ones. Though, I am not a consultant for any of the companies that offer microfibers-I don’t recommend them. Let me share with you why and what I would recommend instead.

Microfibers are a huge trend right now, and they do offer a better solution to all those awful harmful chemicals that are in our cleaning supplies that contain phthalates, and butoxyethanol.

These are just a few of the many toxins that are linked to cancer, asthma, autoimmune, hormonal disruption and many more chronic illnesses.

But microfibers unfortunately leave nurdles in the ocean. Every time you wash your microfiber it releases 2 Tbls of nurdles into the ocean.

So what can you do? Here’s the truth I think a simple cotton cloth with a mixture of Vinegar, Baking Soda, Castile soap and essential oils work without all the dangerous side effects and also save the environment as well. 

Here’s a simple recipe for All purpose Cleaner

• 16 oz glass spray bottle, 
• 8 oz of vinegar
• 20-25 drops lemon essential oil
• Add ingredients into spray bottle and top off with water!

Toilet Bowl Cleaner – this is one of the most dangerous house cleaner! Especially if it has Bleach as an ingredient. Bleach is one of those toxic chemicals that lingers in the water and air for many years. Even small amounts can accumulate and cause adverse health issues. When it interacts with other chemicals it can cause health concerns for you and your family.
